How It Works

First, you will need to decide what type and style of exterior door you want for your home. This will replace the door you have in your home now. On the door's product page, you can choose the window style (½ Lite, ¾ Lite, Mini blinds, etc.), door type, and size. Here, you'll also tell us whether your door handle is on the right or left if you are pulling the door open to you. Finally, you will need to tell us whether your existing door swings inward or outward, and whether or not you want a new door frame included.

Be sure to click the icon next to each option to read more about the available selections, including product descriptions, dimensions, and recommendations to make your door right for you.

Also, while choosing the type and style of exterior door you want, you can choose a pet door from our large selection of high-quality pet doors. Or, if you've already purchased a pet door, you can send it to us to be installed in your new exterior door. Here, you will also specify your pet's dimensions. If you have more than one pet who will use this door, give us the measurements of your tallest pet. For the Door Rise, it should be the highest that your shortest pet can comfortably step through.

If you choose not to purchase a frame for your new exterior door, we will ask for the measurements of your existing door. We will show you a diagram of your existing door and what each measurement is. Just enter each measurement, and we'll customize your door to the same dimensions!

Finally, breeze through the checkout process to order your new built-in pet door! We also recommend creating an account with us so that you can track the progress of your order. We will always email you when your door ships along with a tracking number. Once you or a contractor install it, you and your pet will be able to enjoy your new door for years to come!
